Kate Beecher Moore graduated summa cum laude from the College of the Holy Cross with a B.A. degree in History and obtained her J.D. from Yale Law School. She was a law clerk to Judge Ralph K. Winter, United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and Justice Antonin Scalia, United States Supreme Court.

Kate previously worked as an associate at Sidley Austin, in the Intellectual Property and Marketing Group and the Civil, Criminal, and Constitutional Law Group.  She was also a Trial Attorney for the United States Department of Justice Criminal Division, Appellate Section, where she argued appeals in the United States Courts of Appeals and was assigned to the Justice Task Force investigation of corruption in the Boston, MA FBI office.

Her primary areas of practice are copyright, trademark and design patent litigation.

Kate is admitted to practice before the following courts:
